A God Somewhere is a pointless, gory, waste of time comic that comes accross as both directionless and uninspired. It starts out as something trying to be a bit arty - a "human" view of a superman style story, but "human" in this seems to just mean "nasty and goes about killing everyone".
If you must seak out a superman-gone-bad style story, Mark Wades "Irredeemable" is both more complex and gripping, as well as giving a more sympthetic and fleshed-out motivation for a hero becoming a physcopath.
By comparison, this comic seems proud that it doesn't justy its characters motivation - taking the "oh, I'm god-like now and don't have to explain things to you puny mortals" style approach to its story.
If it seems like I'm being overly negative, this is the emotion it inspires in me. I can say the art was nice for the most part, but overall the comic just felt like a waste of my time.
