I think the restrictions on the size of your avatar are a little strict, you should allow a little bigger ones.

Ive changed them to be longer, but not taller, so they can now be 16:9 ratio (160pixels x 90pixels).
I think this makes more sense then square avatars given the layout of the posts on the board.
I could probably make them a bit taller as well if needed, but I think this might be good enough. (I don't want to make the posts taller due the the avatar size, see)
