IZZ still is, although they have not been terribly successful. Their music is complex, something between Genesis and Emerson Lake and Palmer, but with a second drummer, some female vocalists and generally, a little more variety. The musicianship is uniformly great, but the song writing is not, unfortunately. For every good pretentious song (Assurance) there is a bad pretentious song (I get lost); likewise, for every good catchy song (Lornadoone) there is a bad (not so catchy) song (Razor). I like the voices by the way.
I do not know their other output, but I may keep it like that: they are promising in a way, but I’ll just have to let them be promising for a little while longer while I buy some music that I need more.
