When you ask members of the Jayhawks, Soul Asylum, Run Westy Run, Big star and Wilco to mix their sounds you would not be surprised if you got something like this. If you like any of these bands, especially the Jayhawks, you cannot go wrong with this record. Heavy on the electric guitar, mainly in an alt rock, Americana or alt country mode (as a non American, I’m not that good in putting albums in style formats) but hardly ever hard rocking, this is a pleasing album. Highlights for me are To call my own, Reflections on me and Until you came along (all somewhat plaintive, Jayhawks outtakes to these ears), Jane (love song), Jennifer save me (a love song with nice sound effects) and Lost love (Wilco back in the day when Jeff Tweedy wrote songs, rather than soundscapes.

I can not see it, but it seems to be something spectacular.
