QMS is a (somewhat) famous name from the 1960’s. On posters advertising pop concerts, their name was mentioned along the Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane. They actually sound mostly like a Jefferson Airplane without a female singer.
Their biggest problem is they were no great song writers (Dino’s song is horrendous) and had no good singer (listen to the Fool, by far the best song, but almost destroyed by singing parts that were written into it but then could not be performed by the singer). They were OK musicians (the jazzy ending to Light your windows could not have been done by the Dead or the Airplane, Gold and Silver and The fool are also better than the others had released on record by that time). This is their first album.
